This clutch beat my expectations. Besides being the largest sumatran clutch we've ever had at 33 live babies, they also have a big variety of patterns and colors, like two very bright chromes and two with heads that look half black half chrome (strange!). I expect most of the babies with gray necks to turn gunmetal black, which are faded and blue ish looking as adults. Several holdbacks were picked, including very heavy patterned and VERY faded colored black heads that resemble a granite. (See gallery at bottom of page for photos of holdbacks, previous years holdbacks and hatching.) I sincerely wish I could keep every single one because these are ALL going to be killer when they mature.
