An assortment of acorns and their caps sustainably collected from a Burr Oak tree in Missouri, USA.
- Caps range in size from ½” to 2” wide. Each bag will vary in selection and size (20+ Acorns/caps) and weighs approximately 200 grams.
- Acorns from oak trees are a home and food source for isopods, springtails, shrimp and other bioactive micro fauna. They can also be used as decoration in all manner of vivariums and aquariums. Acorn caps naturally break down over time, supplying the surrounding environment with essential nutrients.
These acorns and caps have been heat treated (boiled in water) and are ready to use!
