Pieces range from 3" to 12" long and no thicker than 1.5”. Each bag contains a range of size and character.

We
hand pick these pieces from the lake
shores of Kansas, USA. These
driftwood flats are specifically selected for the liking of isopods
but work in a variety of vivarium and aquarium situations.
-Pieces
have
been cleaned with water and SUN treated on pavement to clean them up and remove hitchhikers. **This is not a full sterilization, that is up to you. (fully sterilizing removes both bad things and *good* bacteria so it's your choice)
Wood
material is essential to a healthy bioactive environment. Driftwood
has been through a natural curing process and becomes
sturdy, it will
last an extremely long time in a humid or dry environment. The
clean up crew and
other micro fauna will
utilize wood as a living space and
a food source. Isopods
in particular love hiding in the cracks and underside of these
driftwood flats.
