Blonde Madagascar Hognose
(Leioheterodon modestus)
May 2023: Ferdinand x Rogue, A clutch was laid by one of the females (Rogue) in our trio of LTC blonde (golden) madagascar hognose. It looks to be a healthy clutch and now begins the long incubation process. We have kept the group communually for years, up until recently and the eggs popped up shortly after the seperation.
July 21, 2023: The clutch hatched! A few eggs didn't make it through incubation.. We ended up with 3 healthy babies and 1 disformed (but healthy appearing otherwise). These babies will not be available as we are keeping them, even the 'special' one. This is our first time producing this species and we are excited to start feeding trials and raise this little group up!
